Default Problem with Ubuntu installation

Try to install Zimbra onto a new Ubuntu machine

everything was done accordingly so far.
but when the installation reach the zimbra-spell the installation stops.

Here is the information:

The install can't find your server, are the DNS A & MX records set correctly is the /etc/hosts file set correctly?

Zimbra basically won't install unless your DNS is set up perfectly. I struggled with similar issues for a quite a while before I found something that worked for my specific case. There's a sticky post called "Ubuntu installation" in this forum where I posted the steps I followed to get DNS working. You might try checking into that.

If DNS is working on your computer and not getting picked up by Zimbra then I'm at a loss as to what the problem could be.

Thanks everyone for the help. I finally got it. I have some mistake in the DNS setting as point out. And now it is running.
