Question amavisd.conf keeps resetting !

I installed Zimbra about a week ago and initially had trouble with it because the antispam would not start ... it used to error out because the $myhostname was not a FQDN. I searched and isolated it to the amavisd.conf file. I corrected it and consequently was able to start the spam module. Zimbra worked great for the week.

This morning I rebooted and darn it ! ... the file has been reset and I get the same $myhostname error message. Why did it rewrite the config ?

What am I missing ?

Thanks.

Default

change amavisd.conf.in, this regenerates amavisd.conf every restart of the amavis subsystem
