i have the same problem as raynix. dijichi2 solution seemed to work for me too. But then i got this error message:

 package architecture (i386) does not match system (amd64)
Errors were encountered while processing:

argh. thats bad! so, i need another package for amd64. does this exist?

there seems to be good call for ubuntu/debian 64bit packages. i've no idea if zimbra are planning on releasing them, but if not if the source tree ever reopens i'll build some.

I tried install Zimbra 4.5.5 in Ubuntu Server 7.04b and i used the option 1 in the solution post by dijichi2, and now this is the error.

I tried install Zimbra with Ubuntu 6.10 and the error is the same.

I got that error as well, it's an easy fix:

apt-get install libstdc++5

That should resolve it.

Sorry to bump the thread, but I'm running xubuntu, which word does not show up in any search (so, now it will!!) and just wanted to say thanks to post #7, and the test-server is ready to test now.
on to bigger & better hangups!

Xubuntu?
