Default KDE Mediamanager is not running

Hi,

I have recently installed ZCS on my openSUSE 10.2 and it worked well with me but there was a little problem that i have noticed : the KDE Mediamanager doesn't work any more and there an error message that says : kde mediamanager is not running ...

I know this problem has no relation with Zimbra except that it only happened after the installation so i wanted to ask you about it ...

Thanks
Hany

Default something else

Hi,

I forgot to say the version of ZCS it is : ZCS 4.04 open source

Also there is another problem :
after the installation a new user was created named "zimbra" and i tried to open it but failed because i don't have the password so i logged in as root and changed the zimbra user password and tried to open it with the new password it accepted the new password but it failed to open giving me an error message and then return to the log in screen...

Thanks,
Hany

Your sudoers file may be messed up.
Try rerunning the zmsetup.pl script to see if that fixes things.

The file is in /opt/zimbra/log/auth.log

Have you tried running it from the terminal to see if any errors pop out?

Hi,

Sorry for this long absence.

I didn't find the file in the /opt/zimbra/log/auth.log there is no such a file.
About running the zmsetup.pl there were no errors in running it except for some port conflicts that i don't think it affects the problem I'm talking about.and here is the output of running it:
