Default Free or paid-for version

Hello

I'm trying to work out which version of Zimbra is best for us.

We have a handful of different domains that we use. What I want to do is....

bob@domain1.com has own mailbox
bob@domain2.com has own mailbox
dave@domain1.com dave@domain2.com both go to same mailbox.

Is this easy to achieve with the free version?

Thanks

Yes. Set-up any number of aliases and/or domains that you like. Just look at all the money I've just saved you.

Thanks!

Is there anything that I don't get with the free version with regards to handling multiple domains. I was told it is more limited than the paid-for versions.

Nope, nothing different. The underlying products are the same but some of the additional features such as backup, ZCO etc are what the paid-for version has. Check out the differences here.

You don't get delegated admin. So you can't let people admin their own domains.

Thanks Kevin. I don't need delegated admin - so that's not an issue for me.
