Hehe.. I wish you could pic on me and it was so simple to solve the problem.
fresh install (both OS and Zimbra) but zimbra-spell fails
Chk out the last post on that page.
In most /etc/hosts file I commented out everything IPv6 things and added:
Code:
192.168.89.15 danis.myip.hu danis
Tried again and the same problem. (Under Ubuntu).
Under Debian Sarge with 2.6 kernel I got:
Code:
Installing packages
zimbra-spell......zimbra-spell-3.0.0_M2_740-DEBIAN31.i386.deb...FAILED
###ERROR###
zimbra-spell-...deb installation failed
Installation cancelled
I even set up a DNS server (BIND9) and redirected the MX record to my _home_ "server". I set up the proper port forwarding on the router and I can even reach my computer from the outer world. So it shall not be the problem.
I used sun-java5 so it cannot be the problem either. It is just not working. The /tmp/zimbra.log file is empty.
