Default Installing ZCS 4.5.2 Open Source over 4.5.1 Network Edition

I am currently running my server on ZCS Network Edition 4.5.1. I would like to test the open source version 4.5.2. I am terrified with the posibility of loosing the emails and LDAP authentication etc.

I saw some thread that one could keep the existing information in such a situation. The thread is not detailed enough. Just how does someone go about with installation of one version over another while still keeping the data and emails?

If you wish to install the OSS version over the NE version then you just run the normal install script and it performs an 'upgrade' install. I would suggest you install the same release of ZImbra over the NE version then run an upgrade to the current version 4.5.2 Take a backup of the doirectories first, just in case. Is that what you were talking about? You will also lose the NE functionality when you perform that type of upgrade.
