Return Receipts

I don't know if this is in the right area or not but is there a return receipt feature that let's me know when someone has either received and or viewed my mail?

Any news on time limit for this as I am getting nagged about it by our Users and would like to give them a rough date please Guys?

looks like the Users will all be going back to using the Outlook connector then.

I realise these things don't just happen maigically overnight but this is a common Email program function and was hoping Zimbra would soon have this too.

Did you add your vote to that bug report?

It is a popular feature and requested by many but in my opinion it's a waste of time and contributes to unnecessary traffic. Still, if that's what people want.

Personally, I agree Bill, it's not something I ever use!

I make relatively little use of Mail functionality myself, all I do is send and receive email (obviously)!

I do not need to;

send receipts,
make email templates,
create tasks,
share mail folders,
etc.

Unfortunately, loads of my Users do! If there was decent version of Evolution on Windows I would try to get them over to that rather than use Outlook!

I have had many errors with the Outlook Zimbra connector, I do not blame Zimbra for this as Outlook is, as I say, unstable at best!
And to be fair even to Outlook, when you have several different plugins installed, (we have Panda Antivirus and Act 2007 plugins installed in our Outlook 2003 along with Zimbra OLK), then who knows what errors will occur!
