my hosts file contains:

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.1.238 zimbra.standaleinteriors.com zimbra

You think there may be a problem with my hosts file or hostname?

I'm pretty sure it's the same as it was for M1

return? Is it the 192 address? If not, does it get mapped to that address?

Does installing with a hostname of "localhost.localdomain" get past the ldap problems?

No it's the wan address, port 389 does not get mapped to that address. I'll give it a shot with the localhost.localdomain.

Trying to start ldap manually I get

error while loading shared libraries: libbind.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I saw no errors in zimbra.log

Fixed! OMG! I'm a tard. If I had paid attention to that error earlier I'd be done hours ago. But it's been a learning experience. It's also good for the knowledge base of the forum no?

Now my connections to comcast.net and gmail.com that I sent to myself for test emails are timing out. Any ideas? I haven't changed any settings on the sonicwall or anything so everything should work the same as always no?

Also, test email to zimbra server worked no problems.
