Default Zimbra open source hybrid with Zimbra NE

    Hi Guys,

Wondering if OS edition can be made hybrid or domain sharing with Zimbra NE? Lets say I have example.com and zimos.example.com installed for OS edition while I need certain people to move off to zimbra NE which is assume zimne.example.com. Is it possible?

Also, how can we make zimbra hybrid with pure postfix server?

Can someone shed light on these scenarios?

You can do anything you like with a split domain using Zimbra NE & OSS, obviously the accounts that exist on the OSS version will not have any NE features.

Well I have 100 users on Zimbra OSS and planning to move 25 on zimbra NE. I agree and ready to compromise on the functionality.
Does anyone have a How-To Guide available?

IMHO the time spent (lost) on getting the split domain to work (ie: setting it up is easy but you have to move the data too) then explain the users why this or that doesn't work (appointments are the best example) and managing two different servers will cost more than getting everyone on NE (or using ZxSuite).

I agree!!! but you know zxsuite doesnt offer MAPI it only provides ActiveSync that most probably can only work with Outlook 2013. Hence looking for such solution.
I am more keen to know if I can do hybrid with zentyal since they have openchange implemented.

Does zimbra have any plan for integrating openchange?

Ask Zx about OpenChange, not Zimbra.

Once again, IMHO, upgrading to Outlook 2013 is worth the cost (against managing a split domain solution).
