Default customize the url of zimbra

I'd really like to hide the fact that zimbra is behind the scenes as much as possible.

Can we modify the URL someplace?

/zimbra/mail

to

/ourname/mail

Just by using mod_rewrite, or do we rename the webapps, and configure things in tomcat different?

How about upgrading issues?

I appreciate any thoughts before I tackle this.

Thanks.

Remember that if you are running the Open Source Edition the ZPL license doesn't allow you to remove the logo or Zimbra branding. So not sure which Edition your running but if it's the OSS Edition your not allowed to make branding changes.

If you are on the Network Edition. The URL is listed in a few places. There is a config key to set it to / or you can try a mod_rewrite. In general it's not recommended as we don't test in that configuration often but there are a few customer who have done this for one reason or another.
