Default CENT OS Apply Config

Hello
Im a newbee. Im currently tryining to install on CENTOS, ive got as far as the main menu and have set the admin password. Pressed r to get badck to main menu saved the config when I select quit it says quit without applying changes ?, how do I apply the changes there is no option for this. Do i just quit and it applies ?

Yes, just quit and they get applied and the install should complete.

Default Services wont start

Ive quit the menu system and done su - zimbra
xmcontrol status and I now get cannot determine services - exiting, is there a problem with my config ?

Yes, there's something else wrong. Have a look through the install log and see what it is. I presume you read the Quick Start Guide about the /etc/hosts file & DNS A & MX records being needed?

Default A Records

I have mx record set up for @domain.com hostname is xmail.domain.com and there is a A record setup for this but when I go to install it does not like it and tells me there is a dns error and cannot resolve mx record. Do I also need to set up an mx record on xmail.domain.com ?

You should have an MX records for the server not the @domain.com, so it needs to be for xmail.domain.com - search the forums for 'DNS in a Nutshell' for details. You can check the changes you make here.
