Default Upgrade problems

I am trying to upgrade a Zimbra installation and keep getting the following error. If it matters I am trying to convert from Network Edition to OS edition. The host operating system is SUSE 10. Does anybody have an idea as to what I can do to fix it?

Here is the output I am getting from the install script (I replaced all information contained in <>):
Code:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What state is everything at?
Did you restore to a backup, is it not running?

If you restored to a backup, go to the wiki, and follow in the instructions for resetting the mysql and ldap passwords.

This is all running on a backup server. Once I get the procedure correct i will run it with the real one.

I tried resetting the LDAP and MySQL passwords but I am still getting the same error (The password in the error has changed to the new one however so i know that it is reading it correctly)

What happens if you upgrade from NE to NE
Forexample, the script says you are on BETA, what happens if you upgrade to GA NE?

It turns out that the DB had been corrupted a while back and it was just now showing up enough to cause problems with tomcat and any attempts to install on a new server or upgrade.

Arcane-

If you don't mind my asking, how did you end up dealing with this situation? I seem to be facing a similar problem (corrupted DB from a while back)

Unfortunately in a pretty bad way for the people using the server at the time. I didn't (and still don't for that matter) know enough about the inner workings of the DB to restore it so what I ended up doing was creating an entirely new install with the same user accounts and setup. This did teach me that the backup scheme that we had at the time just wasn't going to work and when I redid the server I set it up on an LVM system and am using a modified version of the script available here: Open Source Edition Backup Procedure - Zimbra :: Wiki (the second one not the first).

How corrupt is your server? Is anything at all recoverable from it? What errors are you getting exactly?

PS: Sorry about the slow reply. I have been extremely busy recently.

Default ERROR 1033 (HY000): Incorrect information in file: './zimbra/config.frm'

Hi,

I restarted Zimbra 5. and got the same error mesg.
when I log into mysql and run

SELECT * FROM config
I get the same error.
mysql> SELECT * FROM config;
ERROR 1033 (HY000): Incorrect information in file: './zimbra/config.frm'

I'd changed my my.cnf file which caused the problem.
restored to my previous my.cnf file and started up mysql and it started working ok.
