Default [Network Edition Trial] OS X Installation

I have downloaded and installed the OS X version of Network Edition Trial. The installation went smooth. When I log into the https admin site, the admin user I configured is not allowing me to log in.

After some forum reading, I executed this command to change the password;

mail:~ zimbra$ zmprov setpassword admin@mail.domain.com mypassword
ERROR: account.NO_SUCH_ACCOUNT (no such account: admin@mail.domain.com)

Here is the info for my server:

Store configuration

1) Status: Enabled
2) Create Admin User: yes
3) Admin user to create: admin@mail.domain.com
4) Admin Password set

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Did you try creating another admin account with the instructions in the wiki?

Hi Bill,

The command from the wiki worked for me.

For some reason, when I used the /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl command to config the admin account and spam training information, the info doesn't seem to save.

I used the save command, but when I quit this error comes up:

Quit without applying changes? [No]

I have a recollection that if you can't save those changes then LDAP isn't up for some reason. Is everything working now?

For some reason, it looks like all changes I make are not becoming active.

Before running these commands, I stopped the Zimbra services using the zmcontrol stop command

I am unsure why the changes are not taking. Any tips?

Thanks,
