Default Change http port without re-installing

I selected port 81 for http and would like to change it to 8080. Which file(s) do I edit to do so? All edits to server.xml seem to be overwritten when I restart zimbra and it reverts to port 81. I'll admit, I'm stumped...

Thanks much in advance

20 views and nobody knows the answer? Hmm, looks like the answer is no, it can't be done... So re-install it is....

Hi PKsings,
Hopefully you didn't re-install.
Your post got buried!

To change the http port, you can run:
zmprov ms myserver.domain.com zimbraMailPort (port#) zimbraMailSSLPort (SSL#)
tomcat restart

Good Luck!
