Default Upgrading from Open Source to Network Edition

I'm about to upgrade from 4.0.4 OS to 4.0.5 Network in the next few days, I'm assuming the upgrade is still the same method as upgrading from one version of the OS version to another?

Hi John,

The Open Source edition, and Network Edition are actually different packages.
The process of upgrading is quite easy.

Just download the appropriate binary, and then install it.

If you have any trouble, let us know!

Thanks,
john

I'm in the same boat; I've been running the Open Source edition for about a month and a half as an initial eval, and we're pretty sure we're going to go with it so we want to install the Network Edition and give that a shot. Can we just install without losing the e-mail and accounts we've already got in the Open Source install? (backing up first, of course )

There shouldn't be any issues. However, as you mention, be sure that you have a recent backup.
