Default Add a new MTA to a non MultiServer install!

Hi all,

We had a Single Server all in one box install of Zimbra. But, my email traffic is increasing, and my machine isn't handling it anymore... I'm thinking on put a dedicated MTA server to load balance the work.

What I need to do? Can I follow the multiserver install guide (presuming my current install will be the LDAP/Store) and follow installing the MTA server?

Will this work? Or I will need to re-install everything? And if it is needed how can I migrate my current users/mailbox to the new configuration?

Thanks in advance!

You should be able to just run the install and install the MTA and AV/AS. You will probably want to disable the MTA service on the Mailstore/LDAP server as well. Might be a good idea to copy over all of your learnt spam as well.

Now,

I tried to disable the MTA on my first server and the web client can't send emails.

I had disabled the MTA on the web console, and now I'm trying to find what LDAP attribute I need to change to make the web client send emails through the new MTA server. Can anyone help me ?

Thanks.
