Default Upgrade from 4.0.5_GA_MACOS Network Edition to 4.5_GA OSS

The upgrade went well, no errors. I can login to the administrator and the client web interface. Although, when I log into the administrator interface it complains that a valid license is not installed. Prior to upgrading, I had about 20 days left on my Network Evaluation. Perhaps upgrading from one version to another AND going from Network to OSS in the same upgrade was not a wise idea?

Just to clarify, you upgraded from Network Edition to Network Edition, right?

I was at 4.0.5 Network and upgraded to 4.5 OSS

I'm guessing that was probably the wrong way to do it.

Do you still have the licensing stuff installed in /opt/zimbra/lib/ext?

We may have a bug in this for the mac; please file one in bugzilla against install and upgrade. (Specifically the Network->OSS case)

Thanks,
john

All that's under there is clamscanner:

infinity:/ zimbra$ cd /opt/zimbra/lib/ext
infinity:~/lib/ext zimbra$ ls -lR
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 Jan 15 23:28 clamscanner

./clamscanner:
total 16
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 5722 Jan 15 23:28 clamscanner.jar
infinity:~/lib/ext zimbra$

Okay, then I would file a bug to get a dev look at this issue.

Thanks for pointing this out!
