How would you enable the IMAP service on zimbra.

I have enabled it in the admin CP but when I telnet IMAP from any computer (besides the zimbra server itself) is does not connect.

If it works on the Zimbra server then it's enabled. If you can't telnet from another PC then you probably have a firewall or SElinux blocking it, disable them both if they're active. Are you also trying to connect to the correct port?
