Default SubjectAltName in SSL cert request

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to have a SubjectAltName in an SSL certificate request? I found this page that shows me how to generate a CSR but it makes no mention of SubjectAltName.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like using openssl you can do it:

zmcreatecert usage of keytool
