Default NE 4.5 Sucessfull installs?

Looking at the forum posts sure leads me to believe that NE 4.5 is having major problems. I would like to upgrade, but am fearful of the results.

Is anyone having success with the install? And if so, is it continuing to run without problems.

Yes, plenty of people have installed succesfully and have no problems - I'm one of them. You should, of course, read the posts and be aware of what items may affect you and have suitable backups in place - just in case.

In a forum where people post their problems you're not likely to see many 'mine worked' type of posts, most of them will be doom and gloom.

It would be nice if we had for every major release a canonical list of gotchas to watch out for.
For example, moving to 4.5:
1. You lose your spamassassin DB

Any others?

Well, we already do that. It's the bugzilla.
Some bugs have work arounds. For example, the BAYES DB bug has a workaroud.

There are currently no known *critical/blocker* bugs that should impead your upgrade.

I'm glad this thread was made. I've scheduled mine for next Friday, and I was really starting to get worried. Hopefully mine goes well with no snags, but I am doing a full tape backup of the zimbra backups folder the day before just in case.
