    Default ldap cache parameters

    What do these parameters represent?

    ldap_cache_account_maxage = 15
    ldap_cache_account_maxsize = 20000

    Thank you

    These are in-memory cache values for the mailbox server that are queried from LDAP

    Thank you for your answer!

    So what maxage is meant to expire this info if not used in 15 minutes?

    and the maxsize is the number of accounts to hold? or the size in bytes?

    Also, I set up ldap replicas in every message store to relive the master ldap, not sure if its the best practice tho. Are these parameteres meant to be configured in every ldap server (master or replica)?

    Thanks for your time

    The parameters are meant to be set on mailstore boxes... They do not affect the ldap servers at all.

    The point is to expire the data every 15 minutes, period, in case changes have come into the ldap servers since they were last fetched by the store server. The second parameter is the total maximum number of accounts to cache.
