Default CentOS 4.4 64 bit - 4.5.0_GA install problems

Greetings All,

I am attempting my second Zimbra install - first for a production server.

I have a clean install of CentOS 4.4 X86_64. All dependencies are met.

Install script seems to move along okay, but after it installs the spell app - it hangs. When I ssh in from another machine and ps, I see hundreds of '/bin/bash /bin/unicode_start latarcyheb-sun16' processes running. I have to 'killall /bin/bash' to get the machine back.

This also happens when I './install.sh -u' - it gets to 'saving config' line and hangs up again.

I'm installing from the RHEL4_64 binaries.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks,

Dave Redmore

Default Jumped the gun...

Sorry - searched the forums and googled, but didn't find the WIKI until after I posted.

For anyone else using CentOS -
