Default BIG PROBLEM ON 8.0.5 GA Release Installed on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

    Hi Guys,

I've installed the 8.0.4 GA Release (misstype one the head) on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS has been working very well for the 2 ½ days, when I try to access the email doesn't work on the working on the domain address, I can access the admin page only through the IP address, has been working very well, for this days.. The DNS is working on the server.

I mention nothing else is installed on the server.

    Can someone help me?

    It was only released today.

I don't really understand that sentence.

That would indicate a DNS problem, you'll have to provide some diagnostics (from a client and the server) that your DNS is configured correctly.

Sorry Its the version 8.04 I've mistype.

yes the DNS is correctly configured.

If I reinstall everything is working very well.

What exact diagnostics do you want?

Actually that server has been working very well, without any problem, so I don't think that is a DNS problem.

I'm glad you've fixed it. Just for anyone that reads this thread, what was the specific problem?

Threads don't get closed but as the thread starter you should be able to edit the thread and add [Solved] to the title.

The issue was that the my ISP has blocked my ip and the domain address in theirs DNS server, they have done an update so it was a fail on that. I discover that through changes any many install of the ubuntu until a friend told me to use the google DNS and see if is working, so I was able to eliminate that the problem was in my place.

Anyhow thank you guys for a quick answer
