Unhappy Can't login to a new 4.5 with advanced client, daylight savings error?

I just installed my first 4.5. Been running zimbra since 4.0 with no problems.

Logins to the 'advanced' interface fail with a network service error. I tried Firefox and IE. I also tried to set the default zone in the class of service. The text of the error is this:

Ok. Nobody answered and a forum search reveals no hints.

Maybe I am the only one with the problem.

Could it be my timezone? (GMT - 4) America / Santiago ?

Well, maybe you are the only one with the problem but in a search of the forum I found one answer.

This is now a bug report:

-Client OS: Windows XP Spanish
-Browser: IE 6 or Firefox 2
-Server: Centos 4.4 + Zimbra 4.5 GA

Trying to log in to the advanced client fails with an error of illegal daylight savings time just after loading date.js if:

-timezone is set to '(GMT - 04:00) Santiago' on the windows client
-'Cambiar la hora automaticamente segun el horario de verano' (adjust the time automatically according to the summer time) is clicked
-daylight savings is in effect (i.e. it is summer)

Any one of those three can be changed and the problem does not occur.

I am now up and running using '(GMT -03:00) Buenos Aires, Georgetown' as a workaround.

Hi ekaftan,
Like almost everything is a Windows Bug, you should apply this patch:
