Question outgoing maildeferred - "tls is required but was not offered by host"

I can receive mail but outgoing mail is deferred by smtp-amavis with the message:

"tls is required, but ws not offered by host 127.0.0.1 [127.0.0.1]"

I have enabled tls in main.cf and I put:

    -o smtp_tls_security_level=none

into /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/master.cf.in (which I believe should have fixed the problem)

and then did a zmcontrol restart

I am at a loss as to why this 'fix' didn't work.

    Can anyone please help? Thanks.

    Default

    oops...

It seems that I needed 'smtpd' instead of 'smtp':

    -o smtpd_tls_security_level=none

sounds like you must have tweaked localconfig to require tls security. Zimbra does not ship with that required as a default.
