What in your /etc/hosts file? What do you get from a 'dig mx zimbra.server.net'? Have you still goty your DNS setup on an external server? Have you tried installing a split-DNS setup (search the wiki for details)?

the /etc/hosts :
cat /etc/hosts
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.118.xxx.xxx zimbra.mydomain.net zimbra

and there is no MX recoed yet in the DNS for the zimbra server ( we found out that is mess the setting of the existing mail server of our domain.)

You might have told me at the start that you already had a mail server in this network.

Try setting up a split-DNS setup as outlined in the wiki. Zimbra won't work without correct A & DNS records.

you can still test without the MX record, but you need to have the A record returning 192.118.xxx.xxx for zimbra.mydomain.net. what is the output of this:

/sbin/ifconfig -a
su - zimbra
zmprov getServer zimbra.mydomain.net | grep Port
