Default Working as designed

Messages from the previous year are displayed with their year explicilty included. It's meant to make it clear which messages are older. (If you saw a message simply dated "Mar 14", it might not be clear that it was received 11 months ago...)

Aaaah, yes, because of the short date version I hadn't noticed that they too where in american format :$ . How can the date fromat be changed for the web UI?

Default Non-US date format

Install the appropriate server localization pack(s), and make sure the browser's locale is set correctly.
