Debian OS - Zimbra 4GA - Cannot send or receive emails

I have been reading documentation after documentations on the forum. I found several possible solutions and none worked. I have installed bind and configured DNS on the same box. Made so many changes I lost track. My problem still persist.

I cannot send or receive mail even within the same domain.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

try this:

as root:

su zimbra
whereis file


and then paste what your system says back...

apt-get install file

file: /usr/bin/file /usr/share/man/man1/file.1.gz
