    Default Recovery

    Zimbra masters/gurus....

Our Zimbra server was running on a physical server which I had no input when it was set up at all. Anyway, to cut the long story short two drives failed in a raid5 array and at this point it looks like the array is unrecoverable.

I have a nightly backup of both the Zimbra mysql database and the /opt/zimbra folder. Will this be enough to recover the Zimbra instance? If so, can anyone point me to relevant procedures to do this recovery?

    Thanks.

This is one of the reasons not to use RAID 5 (the other is performance) but I'm sure you know that now. Take a look in the wiki (or the forums) at some of the "disaster recovery" articles and threads.
