zimbra server status problem at zimbra multi server

Situation :
i installed Zimbra OSE 7.2.0 SLES 64bit, MTA and LDAP+Mailbox
if i use for sending email, everything running as well
But at zimbra admin console when i click server status, the second server or MTA server is looks like down but it's not down

Anyone can help me ?

at mta, i just install like this

There's a LOT of different things that could be. I recommend searching the forums (or Google).

For example, just google for: zimbra status red x site:zimbra.com

If you want my anecdotal answer, the only time I had this happen was when I forgot to allow UDP traffic between the zimbra boxes and only had TCP allowed. Opening up all TCP/UDP between the boxes fixed that problem (but that's not by any means the most common reason).

P.S. Its bad etiquette (at best) to send private messages to forum members asking them to look at and answer your post. I considered not doing so, but decided to answer anyway. I (and most others on the forums) don't actually work for Zimbra. If you need a response quickly you should make sure you have the licensed Network Edition and can contact Zimbra support directly.

Bumped into same issue. It took me some time to figure it out.

If you have multi site install the logger should run on only one host.
On the host it runs you have to accept logs from the other servers. On rhel6 rsyslog does not listen by default, nor zimbra configures it.
You have to edit /etc/rsyslog.conf and uncomment the following:

# Provides UDP syslog reception
$ModLoad imudp
$UDPServerRun 514

# Provides TCP syslog reception
$ModLoad imtcp
$InputTCPServerRun 514

Restart syslog and don't forget to punch a hole (or 2) in your firewall. Zimbra puts remote forwarding with one @ (ex local0.* @remote-logger0server) which means it uses UDP.
-A INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 514 -j ACCEPT
-A INPUT -m state --state NEW -m udp -p udp --dport 514 -j ACCEPT

The entries on rsyslog on any remote server regarding zimbra look like this:
