Creating server entry for ...failed. on upgrade. System not working. Need help

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade to the latest version. Things where going well until I get a message that say Creating server entry for mail.mydomain.com...failed. where mydomain is our domain. The system seems to be broken now and I am stumped. I would be very greatfull if someone could help me resolve this.

The first error that I see while trying to upgrade is

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: TRACE
at com.zimbra.common.util.Log.(Log.java:44)
at com.zimbra.common.util.LogFactory.getLog(LogFactor y.java:50)
at com.zimbra.common.util.ZimbraLog.(ZimbraLog.java:115)
at com.zimbra.cs.account.ProvUtil.main(ProvUtil.java: 3159)

Not sure if that helps at all.

I have followed directions for split DNS and the upgrade is still Failing. This is a production server. Any help is much appreciated.
