Welcome to the forums.

You need a DNS server to resolve addresses on your LAN, as fas as I know dnsmasq is just a DNS forwarder and doesn't provide the neded functionality. Install BIND and look for a thread in the forums titled 'DNS in a nutshell', it tells you how to set-up it correctly.

You can feed dnsmaq with local records, its setup is really easy (as long as you've understand what a DNS is and how it works).

Default Zimbra is working with dsnmaq

I configured the MX record in my dnsmasq.conf, and I was able to install Zimbra.
The only problem is that the zimbra web interface is working, but not any mail client (Thunderbird, or Outlook).

Any idea?

Why, it's remarkable easy and the instructiosn are already there for RHEL & Ubuntu. If you really want to do it, a search would have found these instructions.
