Really no one has an answer for this? Think it is time to look for a new email solution then.

There are answers in the forums and wiki.

How about these: site:zimbra.com +"IO::Socket::INET: connect: Connection timed out at" - Yahoo! Search Results

There is also a problem with your /etc/hosts, the line with your LAN IP is incorrect and there's details in the Split DNS article on the correct format. Your resolve.conf also has an entry for an external DNS server, it shouldn't.

That's a rather extreme response when you've only posted your question approx ten hours ago. You do realise that people that post here do so voluntarily and aren't paid to do so?

How is my LAN ip incorrect when that is the ip address of the server that I have assigned it internally. If that is not correct what should it be. I will remove that dns ip for google dns.

In regards to my last post I have been working on this for about 24 hours straight and I am just worn out and tired of staring at the screen trying to find the solution.

Oh and I tried all the things listed here

How about these: site:zimbra.com +"IO::Socket::INET: connect: Connection timed out at" - Yahoo! Search Results
    None of that worked

I didn't say the LAN IP was incorrect, I said that line is incorrect.
