Default Login Problems...

Got zimbra installed and was getting my dns straightened out when suddnely I couldn't login via the admin URL. I tried to login as a user and I get page not found on http://www.mydomain.com/auth

The admin login screen just sits there at the 'Loading' page.

Any ideas?

You say 'suddenly you couldn't login', do you mean you could before? What changed? The login url for zimbra is http://fqdn_of_server/ and not http://www.mydomain.com/auth

The URL's work fine. It's just after I submit it either hangs (admin) or says page not found (user)

Is this an internal problem i.e. can you login from your LAN or is it an external one from outside your network? Have you made the changes that zimbra support recommended for the DNS?

There is no LAN to login from, its web only as the server in a remote data center.

The URL's work fine, DNS seems to fine. It's AFTER I click the submit button that it hangs there or gives me a page not found error.

Which browser? Have you cleared your browser cache? Is there any firewall or selinux on your system?

Cleared the browser cache. Using safari on a mac, also tried firefox and camino. I don't think its a browser issue.

Do you have a test account I can try to login from? Send me a pm if you do and I'll try from here. I can certainly see the server and a telnet gives a response + a failed login kicks me out.

Yeah. I had emailed support and Sean was very helpful. The issue was my fault in that I changed the name from zimbra.razorservers.com to zim.razorservers.com. Well that blew up everything. Its all good now.

I did make a new post about how to get send and receive working though. Something is missing since zimbra says its sending but it doesn't go anywhere.
