Default Zimbra Install & client access, couple of issues

Hi,

I have just finished installing and configuring Zimbra on Fedora Core 5.

My FC5 server is setup as a local domain (mailserver.finalzero.local) and I have configured Zimbra to handle mail for the public domain finalzero.com.

At the moment its not sending or receiving email however I think this may be a DNS issue more than anything.

The DNS server for finalzero.com is hosted on my dedicated server which has the relevant MX record setup for my email server (mailserver.finalzero.com).
The local mail server machine also has the relevant DNS records setup and the they resolve correctly when I do a nslookup.

2nd Problem I am having is with Outlook 2003, specifically IMAP access. I have configured Outlook 2003 to connect to the Zimbra mail server via IMAP however I keep getting a login box popping up. I have enabled SSL connection however this still does not resolve the issue.

Web access works fine so I am able to confirm the users is valid and able to log in.

Thanks in advance,

Tk

Have you got 'use DNS' box checked in the admin web ui? For outlook, have you got it to use SSL port 993?
