No it wouldn't, you can find the answer to that all over the forums and even in the Product Documentation.

and a 1024MB? because the 2GB and 4GB servers are VERY expensive.....

Reading the documentation will not always answer a question. ZCS will run on a CentOS server but you won't find this in the documentation.
