Default current version of zimbra and CentOS 6.2 installation guide?

Hi,

I am installing Zimbra on CentOS for a school project but need some help with the DNS records and general setup. is there a setup guide for these things? i have spend a few weeks searching for good information but everything seems to be outdated and not helpful for me. i would appreciate any info you have on current editions for these things.

i have used webmin for the DNS but cant seem to get everything working properly.

cheers

I'll move this to the correct forums as it's not a question about Zimbra Desktop (which is where you've posted).

Full information about DNS setting are all over these forums. If you're behind a NAT router (or firewall) then you'll need a Split DNS set-up, if you're on a public IP then the same information is valid with the proviso that you use the public IP instead of the LAN IP.

You can confirm your DNS settings by running all the commands in the 'Verify....' section of the Split DNS article.

That doesn't give us much information, how about providing the output of those commands?

What errors do you see in the log files? Have you also disabled SELinux?

I wasn't clear in my last post but I wanted you to run all the commands in the 'Verfiy...' section of the Split DNS article (as I mentioned in a post a bit further back) and you should run all the commands on the Zimbra server itslef.
