Default can't send the mail from outlook.

when i use smtp in outlook express...

the maillog in server..following 210.XXX.XX.XX is the sender ip

Have you got it set-up to authenticate against the zimbra server? You'll need that for users that aren't on your lan.

yes...not in the same lan...
then how can i do set-up to authenticate against?

Have a look at this page - item 10 "My server requires authentication." should be what you need.

thank you.

I already checked incoming and outgoing as my server requires authentication.
Using Pop3 receive is works.
but still can't using smtp to send out.

i using outlook express as smtp at my office (210.xxx.xxx.xxx)
i works, but after some hours, the maillog show me that above message...

And i have a Cisco firewall PIX-506E front of the zimbra server.

Because i read a post Cannot Send Email Through Outlook Client

i fixed it...
the problem is the PIX firewall
set to not inspect smtp traffic ..then works...
