Are you connecting to the zimbra server from the same subnet on the LAN?

When the SMTP telnet was successful, it was from a different subnet. When it was unsuccessful, it was on the same subnet.
And when I try to send an email through telnet from a remote pc, I am getting the same error in the logs.
Im going to check the DNS files as well.Code:Oct 30 16:00:18 zimbramail postfix/smtp[14954]: F09F1F54896: to=, relay=none, delay=19, status=deferred (connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]: Connection refused)
Also, I found this in the log files.
Don't know why though, I can't find anywhere in the conf files where this port is defined, and when doing a netstat it doesn't appear in the list.Code:Oct 30 16:07:58 zimbramail postfix/smtp[16849]: connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]: Connection refused (port 10024)
I added the service with the port in /etc/services, reboot, still no go.

That port is amavis, IIRC. Can you telnet to port 25 on the zimbra server itself? Can you run sestatus and see what it returned? Can you run (as the zimbra user) 'postconf -d mynetworks' & postconf mynetworks' - what do they return?

It seems I found the answer, it was on the threads, someone had the same problem before.
Connection refused (port 10024)
Thanks for all the help!
