Default 4.0.3

The upgrade to 4.0.3 went great, but I have a few users who notice something weird with the icons. A lot of them are displaying the wrong icon (but features still work). Like the trash icon is actually the search icon, etc. It doesn't always happen and logging out, closing the browser and relogging in seems to fix the problem. Any ideas? I've attached a screen shot.

Have you tried clearing the browser cache? Is this happening with different browsers?

I personally didn't try clearning the cache...others users have said they did and that fixed the problem...but it re-appeared at a later date/time.

I've personally seen it on both IE6 and Firefox 1.5 (windows version). However the few mac users I have, have not reported any problems.

In the past, this has always been a cache issue. Just to be safe, have your users clear the cache close the browser completely and relaunch. This usually happens during upgrades.

There seems to be something buggy with our versioning code that isnt invalidating the cached content

Yep, This is a cache issue.
I had the same issue, and cleared it and it was fine.

most of my clients don't know how to clear the cache, so after a while the cache expires, and icons return to normal.
