Default New admin, three questions

Hi,

I know all of this is probably covered in the admin manual, however, my old mailserver is not able to process mail due to a bad hard drive, so I am trying to get up and running as quickly as possible.

My old mailserver is running Kolab 2.0.2 (postfix, cyrus imap, openldap, sasl, clamav and spamassassin). Unfortunately, the drive, which sounds like it has a bearing going out, isn't reliable enough that I have been able to pull off a transfer of the imap store. Since it appears that Zimbra is using cyrus as well, is it possible to copy the mail store directly to the Zimbra machine?

I can't log in to the admin account using my password. I was able to the other night. Is there a way to reset this from the command line?

I just noticed that 4.0.3 was out. Is the upgrade path simply to untar the deb files then run the install script?

Finally, where does the mailstore live? Is it under /opt/zimbra? I would like to create a separate partition for Zimbra.

Thanks,
--Storm

Here's a quote from the Admin manual (I've never tried it, but that's what it says):
The administration password can also by changed using the command line
zmprov setpassword. Enter as zmprov sp adminname@domain.com password

That's what I did about an hour ago. It ran without throwing a single error, although I now have to redo changes I made to some of the scripts--it appears to replace nearly everything but the user data.

Hi

No, you can't copy everything from your old system to zimbra as it doesn't quite use cyrus. There a description in the wiki for conversion, you need to use IMAPSYNC to import the mail.

You can reset the Admin password from the command using this

Everything lives under /opt/zimbra so you can move the directory and create a symlink if you like.
