Default Upgrade 6.0.6_GA_2324.DEBIAN5 to 7.1.0 XEN flavour?

Hi All, sorry for the oblique title. Here's a better description.

Our current Zimbra 6.0.6 installation is running on Debian 5 i686 as a Xen machine. We now want to upgrade to 7.1.0 - however Debian 5 is Deprecated.

I've searched long and hard but cannot find a documented solution or path to assist us in the upgrade. Does someone know if I can carry out the upgrade 'in place' on the existing Deb 5 i686 Xen instance or to I somehow need to create a new Xen 'image' with for example Ubuntu 10.04 LTS as the Dom U/0?

Any suggestions, directions, or words of wisdom (advice) would be much appreciated. Thank you,

Edward

yea, so all 32bit platforms are deprecated and so is debian in general. If you want to stay on a Debian based distro, I suggest you move to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I know you likely won't like that answer, but it is what it is. Otherwise try CentOS or some redhat based stuff.... You'll probably feel more at home in Ubuntu though.

Why not just upgrade to ZCS7.x on your existing Debian 5 and then move to Ubuntu? For me that would be the way to go. Deprecated simply means the platform won't be supported in a next major version of ZCS.
