Angry loops back to myself

Fresh minimal install of CentOS4.4. Install of Zimbra completes without error. I can login to the admin console and create user accounts. I can login to those accounts. When I try to send any email from those accounts, even from: foo@ to foo@, I get bounce messages with errors messages such as:

mail for loops back to myself.

DNS has been configured such that both the domain and the hostname of the mail server have an MX RR that points to the mail server itself.

Any ideas?

This is probably because you changed the relay host in the admin ui.

Make sure the relay host is correct, usually it's localhost, but not always. I say that because depening on your configuration, changing it to localhost, can mess things up.

Refer to the admin documentation on relay hosts.

Nope. This is a cookie-cutter install. I had some problems in other areas, wiped the machine clean, and re-installed OS and Zimbra. Other than setting the admin password, this is with all of the defaults.

I'll try setting the relayhost and see if that helps though.
