Question Problem with installing Zimbra on Fedora 14

Hello.

I've problem with installing Zimbra on Fedora 14.
I tried install, but after install rpm packages, I've got errors liki these.

When will build Zimbru for Fedora 14?

You'll realise from those errors (and the fact there's no F14 build) that Zimbra isn't supported on that platform.

If this is for an installation that your company will rely on I'd suggest you use a more suitable platform than a 'bleeding edge' consumer distribution. Try using RHEL or install the RHEL binary on CentOS.

Thanks, I tried install on Ubuntu 10.04 LT, no problem. But if Zimbra get more sale, need support more platforms.

No, I don't believe it does and the Network Edition will never be supported on platforms such as Fedora.

Zimbra has published an official document of why will not support Fedora?

If you’re talking about the Network Edition the reason it will never be supported is that there's no official support provided by the 'vendor'. If you're talking about the OSS version then eventually it will be supported but as I said earlier, it's not a good stable platform for a mail service that you'#re company is going to rely on.

Ok. I use Fedora only for gateway, but for me isn't problem use CentOS, or Ubuntu.
