Default Zimbra 7 For Mac?

Hi There,
I had a dig through the forums but didn't find anything definitive on this:

I know that many users have managed to install zimbra on various unix systems which are not strictly supported in the past and wondered if there was any guidance anyone can offer about installing on Mac Snow Leopard 10.6

Is this just a straight non starter? I saw that all mac support was missing from the list on the release notes.
Thanks very much for any help at all.
