From Ubuntu 8.04 LTS 32 bit to 64 bit Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Here's what I have, a FOSS Zimbra 7 32-bit install on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS
Linux mail 2.6.24-28-server #1 SMP Wed Nov 24 10:04:43 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
Release 7.0.0_GA_3077.UBUNTU8 UBUNTU8 FOSS edition.
Since all 32-bit is discouraged, I need to get that existing setup to 64bit Ubuntu 10.0.4 LTS ? That's the million dollar question.
1. Will it be okay to setup the 64bit Ubuntu 10 LTS with my split DNS and do a fake install ( that is install.sh -s ) and then copy over 32bit stuff and fix the permissions ?
2. I'm screwed, got re-install and manually export each account via the webclient and import them on the 64bit side. I have a small amount of accounts. I will hate doing it but I could. Don't want to though.
Please help and thanks in advance.
