Settings for Calender

I am trying to set Monday as first day of week in calender but cannot find anything to let me do this in 'preferences' Can someone tell me where to find please.

Preferences -> Calendar -> "Start week on" -> "Monday"

When I click Preferences it appears to show only the following sub headings, none of which refer to calender options.
Login Options>
Searches>
Others>

The panel to the left side shows:
(can you see this?)

General>
Mail>
Composing>
Signatures>
...
Calendar>
...
