Default Zimbra Open Source on Cent OS

Dear All,

Is this is possible that we can install the following Open source package of Zimbra on Cent OS 4.

zcs-6.0.10_GA_2692.RHEL4.20101215161055.tgz

There is no any package of Zimbra for Cent OS.(Open Source Edition Downloads: Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration Software by Zimbra).

Best Regards,

Zahoor Ahmad

This has been answered in the forums many times. CentOS is a binary compatible rebuild of RHEL then, as such, you can install the RHEL Zimbra version on it.

They're exactly the same as installing it on RHEL and covered in the forums and the Product Documentation including the Release Notes.

zahahmad,

Follow the instructions for the RHEL install. Make sure you've loaded all the prerequisites, ensure that the appropriate ports are not in use or blocked, and that SELINUX is not enabled.

When running the installer, use the --plaform-override argument.

Good Luck!
