Upgrade while zimbra service is running

Hi! it is possible to upgrade zimbra to new version without stopping the mail server?

no..there is NO hot or live upgardes (nor i know if any other email server)

All Zimbra services will shut down and it takes around 40min-1hour for an avrage zimbra upgrade.

Thanks for the info... I hope someday we could have this features... I might lost some incoming email during upgrade process...

No, you wouldn't have lost any email during an upgrade. The Zimbra services are shutdown during the upgrade and any email coming in (or trying to) would have been unable to get delivered so the sending server would retry that at a later time.
